What makes this fun is the thrill of spotting endemic animals like leopards, gaurs and sloth bears on the way. You can travel the extra mile to visit the Tambdi Surla Temple <\/strong>(dedicated to Lord Shiva), which is located in the vicinity (18 km). The temple has Jain architectural style and is believed to have been constructed by by Hemadri, the minister of the Ramachandra – a Yadava King. The temple consists of garbhagriha, antarala<\/em> and a pillared Nandi mandapa built of basalt<\/strong>. The pillars are embellished with intricate carvings of elephants, while the ceilings are decorated with Ashokan lotus flowers.
